Himanshu Khurana
Dr. Khurana's research interests lie in the area of distributed system security, especially as applied to large-scale distributed systems and critical infrastructures. He is currently working on developing security solutions for messaging systems and the power grid infrastructure. In this research he is developing scalable techniques for encryption and authentication that are supported by sophisticated key management systems and are also formally analyzed using rigorous techniques. These techniques are demonstrated to be highly efficient and easily integrated in real-world systems. Dr. Khurana is also working on developing overarching cyber security architectures for these large-scale systems.
