In the area of digital rights management (DRM), Negar Kiyavash focuses on copyright protection, including digital watermarking and digital fingerprinting, steganography, and information-theoretic and algebraic DRM. In the area of biometrics, she is working on biometric authentication and biometric-aided access-based control. In the area of public key cryptography, her concentration is on theory and implementation of elliptic curve cryptography and tori-based cryptosystems, digital signatures, proactive security, and smartcards.
